This Fall in the Hive!

Hello Weavervillians and Visitors!

We are so excited to have a diverse lineup of activities this fall. Be sure to check out our classes, workshops, and events as you are planning your trip to Weaverville! Even if you miss these, stop by the store to sample some honey and pique your interest about the amazing honeybee.

Tincture Workshop:

Oct. 6th 11am-1pm // $40 per person (sliding scale available)

Herbalist Hannah Gibbons will lead this hands-on workshop. Come learn how to make these high-potency alcohol-extracted medicines for your blossoming home apothecary! Each participant will bring home a small tincture.

Balms & Salves Workshop:
Oct. 6, 2-5pm // $30 per person
Join our workshop on DIY balms & salves for health and beauty! Learn about infusing oils, and bring home your own tin of salve.
Storytelling:
Nov. 2nd, 6-7:30pm // $5 suggested donation
Sarah has told stories at LEAF for 15 years – come cozy up and hear some stories! Open to all ages. Libations provided. RSVP if possible, but feel free to show up unannounced!
Candle Making Workshop:
Nov. 3rd, 1-2:30pm // $30 per person
Learn to make your own candles with natural beeswax sourced from beekeepers right here in this area, and take home your very own candle! This course will be taught by Emily Trescott of Beelite Candles in Morganton NC.
