Music on Main returns June 10th, 2023
Join us for a family-friendly, outdoor music festival in Downtown!
Music on Main is an open-air, one-night concert event on Main Street in Weaverville.
This annual concert is free and open to the public. Three bands will take the stage, local food and beer will be available for sale, vendors will line the street, and families can enjoy a dedicated activity zone with activities for kids.
The Stage sets up in front of Town Hall. Folks are encouraged to bring chairs, friends, kids, and their appetite.
Music on Main is a rain or shine, good time.
4:05pm My New Favorites
This year’s Song Contest Winner! Bringing Appalachian and honkey-tonk roots, 10 years of honing in on their vibe, and a natural, happy energy to the stage. This will be a fun way to kick off the night.
5:15pm Datrian Johnson & Jamie Hendrickson Quartet
Datrian Johnson is a force, and the immediate chemistry with songwriter/music director/guitarist Jamie Hendrickson is clear. The group is a portion of the Fritz, and sure to get folks moving.
7:15pm Dangermuffin
Hailing originally from Folly Beach, Dangermuffin is an Asheville-based eclectic quartet whose musical styles include Americana, folk, and jam music that’s organic and cool. The band’s live show swims between tasty acoustic, and rockin’ electric sounds. The group was founded in 2007 and has been touring throughout the United States since.
Music on Main has been a labor of love and community spirit from the beginning, and we’d love your help with this incredible event this year.
There are a number of different roles, times, and ways to get involved.
