The 18th anniversary of our Candlelight Stroll was December 9th, 2022.
Thank you to everyone who made it possible.
The list of festivities included live music, luminaries, crafts and a scavenger hunt, food, drink, storytelling, and horse drawn carriage rides.
All of the activities and events for 2022 are listed below for reference.
Tree Lighting: 6:00 pm, The Weaverville Tree on Main Street
Storytelling, Music, Gifts, Kids Crafts, and a Shuttle Service to Town: The Community Center and The Dry Ridge Museum offered a full night of festivities, AND a ride from Lake Louise to Main Street.
Scavenger Hunt – Sponsored by Trout Insurance: Holiday characters were hidden throughout Town!
Santa: As usual, was hosted by Keller Williams Realty!
Cops 4 Kids: Donation jars were dispersed along Main Street.
Festive Singing and Caroling: North Windy Ridge Intermediate School caroled through Town. Starting near Rodney’s at 6:15 and winding their way through town. North Buncombe High School Choir kicked us off by singing at the Tree Lighting, and then caroling through Town.
Horse & Carriage Rides: Tickets went on sale December 1st and sold out quickly. Huge thanks to the Weaverville United Methodist Church for allowing us to use their parking lot for loading and unloading.

Art Accentssponsored a wreath competition between Mrs. Vann’s K-4th graders.
Goosmann Rose Colvard & Cramer: Offered hot coffee, sweet/salty treats, and glitter ornament making for all ages in the tent on the front lawn.
Mangum Pottery: Offered a kids’ clay table time, old time music, refreshments, and holiday cheer!
Weaverville Yoga: Welcomed folks upstairs into their studio for a moment of calm, a cup of Chai, and free class passes.
Aabani Salon: Fairy Hair! Plus, 20% off retail including CBD, 40% off Aveda Candles, and complimentary service upgrades.
La Cache Boutique: Offered sweet treats and peak into the newest addition to our Main Street sartorial shopping options.
Hoppy Trees: Drink specials and festive decorations.
Leveller Brewery: Live music on their patio, homegrown yarn, Ratbee Press items, and a specially brewed beer.
Meadowbrooke Bridal: Offered Champagne and Chili.
Artisans on Main: Offered warm apple cider and 10% off coupons with all purchases during Candlelight Stroll.
First Baptist: Hot Cocoa at the Entrance, and Christmas Music in the Rectory.
Fresh Aire Spa: Celebrated their four year anniversary the night of the Stroll with a veritable feast.
