The world of honey is massive and miniature, stark and subtle, methodical and magical. When something can be described with such contrasting terms, yet still make sense in ways that we can taste, we know it’s something worth buzzing about.
Please save the date for an exciting pop-up pairing event we’re hosting along with Red Fiddle Vittles, Noble Cider, and Shanti Elixirs. This fun and casual celebration of all things honey will take place Friday, Feb. 24 at Honey & the Hive (23 Merrimon Ave.) in downtown Weaverville from 6-9PM.
We will be pairing local cheeses and honey-themed small bites with meads from Noble Cider and juns from Shanti Elixirs, while Honey & the Hive will be sampling various local and single origin honeys. All manner of honeys, beekeeping supplies, and bee-related merchandise will be available for purchase; staff and other honey folk will be available to share knowledge and information about how honey happens.
We look forward to sharing delicious food, drinks, and honeys with y’all soon!
