Fian At Eluvium Brewing For Weaverville Art Safari This Weekend

“Night Stalker” watercolor & ink. The great horned owl (Bubo virginianus), also known as the tiger owl (originally derived from early naturalists’ description as the “winged tiger” or “tiger of the air”) has always fascinated me and I wanted to create my own version with that description in mind. They are also good omens as well! In my book, a horned owl has to have horns…I’m just sayin’.

I will have different types of prints of this bad boy with me along with a lot more art (prints and some original paintings and drawings) this Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm at Eluvium Brewing where I will be setup for the Weaverville Art Safari artist studio tours. I setup there because I am the permanent artist there and it’s right around the corner from my house, I don’t have to deal with cleaning up my studio AND there’s beer and food there….its a win win! I hope to see you there!!!!!
