Weaverville’s Shamrock Festival
will take place on Sunday March 15th, 2026!

Weaverville will welcome the arrival of spring with its annual Shamrock Festival on Sunday, March 15, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., transforming Florida Avenue and Merchants Alley into a lively, family-friendly celebration filled with music, food, dance, and community spirit.

This outdoor event embraces the charm of small-town Weaverville while offering something for all ages. Attendees can enjoy live Irish-inspired music, traditional Irish dance performances, interactive games, children’s activities, and a variety of local food and beverage options, all set in the heart of downtown.

To take a beverage into the festival area, guests will purchase a $3 event hand stamp. The stamp allows you to walk throughout the celebration with your drink in hand — and it directly helps fund the Shamrock Festival and other free community events hosted by the Weaverville Business Association.

Live music will be provided by Trippin’ Up the Stairs, bringing an energetic soundtrack to the afternoon, thanks to sponsorship from Weaverville Realty & Joe Eckert. Adding to the cultural celebration, dancers from Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance will perform throughout the event, showcasing the artistry and tradition of Irish dance.

Families can take advantage of dedicated kids’ activities sponsored by Eluvium Brewing, while visitors of all ages can enjoy classic festival games such as cornhole and giant Jenga, along with the popular Willbloom Book Bus and a Photo Booth sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.
