Come listen to the New Quintet, a band that spans Traditional Folk, Ragtime, Old-Time and Early Country music,. Hailing from Chattanooga and featuring Nicholas Edward Williams (of American Songcatcher and Restring Appalchia). Starts at 7pm, $20 suggested donation, all of which goes to the band.

First Friday in June, join Silver River Chairs for whisk broom making at 32 N Main St, downstairs from Five Monkeys Quilts. Enjoy a demonstration or you can make your own for $20/broom. It takes about 30 minutes for your first broom. BYOB (there’s good beer very close by).
