Weaverville First Fridays

Join us in downtown Weaverville for an after hours look at some art galleries and other fun stuff!

FRIDAY, JULY 3rd:

5 Little Monkey Quilt & Sew

Join us for a sew-in, people can bring any type of hand work and sit in the classroom and make stuff.  Knitters, crocheters, quilters, bookmakers – any kind of hand project is welcome.  We plan to stay open until 8 PM for standard shopping as well for each First Friday.

Artisans on Main:

Sara Bell from SB Artistree’s doing a LIVE demo with some newly released prints, Natural Health and Skin will be in the shop to offer a make your own Aromatherapy necklace as well as new skincare sets, and Gifts of Lakshmi Botanical Perfumes will have a BUY 2, GET 1 FREE sale.

Blue Mountain Pizza & Weaver House:

Weaver House and Blue Mountain are partnering for a “Pizza and a Pint” special. Blue Mountain is creating a special Asian fusion pie as a nod to the Japanese gardens here at Weaver House. Patrons are welcome to bring BMP or any neighboring take out over to the WH gardens to enjoy the evening. Whether you’d like to picnic in the gardens or enjoy the World Cup on our big 15ft screen, we are here with the bar available. 6p till 9p

Curtis Wright:

Open late with a Red White and Blue Sale. 15% off anything with Red White or Blue on it. Some limitations do apply.

First Baptist Church:

snow cones, corn hole, sidewalk chalk and hoola hoops!

Maggie B’s:

Free Wine tasting from 5-8 pm

Live Jewelry Making: Stack Rings

Leveller Brewing:

Ratbee Press will be doing an interactive letterpress demonstration starting at 6 where you can print your own card!

Plus, old-time music by the brewer and friends.

Silver River Chairs:

Silver River Chairs invites you to stop in a make a whisk broom (sug $25 donation). Two times slots, 5-630 & 630-8. It’s very fun so you may want to stay and make a second broom! All materials and tools are included. Moderate hand/back strength required. Pants and shoes recommended (not flip flops). Text 828-707-4553 to sign up or stop by. 6 people limit per time slot.

Well Bred Bakery:

Open til 8 pm with live music from 6-7:30 pm!
