Friday, May 12^th from 10am-2pm.

Once a year, during National Tourism Week, we get the opportunity to say thank you to our travelers and loyal locals! This year is our 20^th Anniversary of being open on the beautiful I-26 northern corridor in North Carolina. In celebration we will have Roger Howell, acclaimed fiddle player and his band.   We will also have representatives of western North Carolina attractions, accommodations, and quaint towns. As well as demonstrations of yarn spinning, basket weaving, fly tying and pottery making.  And while you’re here, sit on the porch and enjoy some ice cold Cheerwine, munch on some NC Peanuts and try some Looking Glass Creamery cheese samples.  Come on out to the welcome center at 6178 Interstate 26 in Mars Hill and stay the whole day!  If you need more information, please call us at (828)689-4257.
