Art in Autumn FAQ’s
Parking Information
Parking will be available at the Weaverville Primary School and other designated spots around town, with signs and volunteers helping to direct you. If you are comfortable with a short walk, additional parking is available at the Weaverville Elementary School, the Weaverville Community Center, and along Weaver Boulevard, all less than a mile from the festival. For safety, please follow these guidelines:
– Avoid parking in traffic lanes or on detour routes
– Do not block sidewalks, driveways, or crosswalks
– Keep 20 feet clear around stop signs and traffic signals
– Leave cones, signs, and barriers in place
Parking on residential streets within the Town of Weaverville is not permitted. Please also remember that parking attendants are volunteers, and your patience and appreciation mean a lot.
Bathrooms
Yes. Porta potties will be located along the side of the Frontier Building, in the Municipal Parking Lot, and along Georgia Street.
Can I Bring My Dog?
Yes. Art in Autumn is outdoors and pets are welcome, but please keep them leashed and away from artists’ booths and valuable artwork.
Road Closures
Main Street between Church Street and Brown Street will be closed from 5 AM until about 9 PM, depending on how long cleanup takes.
Food & Drinks
Weaverville has many excellent food and beverage businesses along Main Street, including Twisted Laurel, Maggie B’s, Allgood Coffee, Well-Bred Bakery, Yellow Mug, Leveller Brewing, Eluvium Brewing, Zebulon Artisan Ales, Liondog Lounge, Glass Onion, Blue Mountain Pizza and Soba Sushi & Noodles.
Shopping
You’ll also find wonderful local shops to explore, such as Honey & the Hive, The Hidden Door, Mangum Pottery, Miya Gallery, Tessa’s Shop Around the Corner, 5 Little Monkeys Quilt & Sew, Art Accents, and Curtis Wright Outfitters.
