WBA Micro-Grant Q&A

WEAVERVILLE BUSINESS ASSOCIATION OFFERS MICRO-GRANTS TO SMALL BUSINESSES, APPLICATION OPENS IN OCTOBER.
The Weaverville Business Association (WBA) is thrilled to announce the Weaverville Business Association Micro-Grant program. This program is made possible thanks to the Duke Energy Foundation’s Hometown Revitalization grant program. This is the second year Duke Energy has provided targeted grants in support of downtown areas throughout the state. More information about the Duke Hometown Revitalization grant program is available here.
Grants from the WBA will range from $500-$2500, to total $22,500 in grant support. To be eligible to apply; businesses must be for-profit businesses with less than 50 employees (or similarly sized nonprofits that operate?? a storefront business) and headquartered in the zip codes: 28787, 28709, and 28701.
The Application will open October 15th, 2022. Deadline to apply is November 15th. Grantees will be announced in early January 2023.
All interested businesses are invited to join the WBA on Tuesday, September 27th at 5:30pm in the Community Room at Weaverville Town Hall for an overview of the Grant Program with a Question and Answer period. Email [email protected] to rsvp and request more information.

The Weaverville Business Association is a vibrant network of local business owners who collaborate to foster a thriving Weaverville business community. Established in 2004, this group of businesses initiates numerous activities to bring the community together and promote the unique spirit and pride of Weaverville including Art in Autumn, Candlelight Stroll, and Music on Main.
