Music on Main – June 18th, 2022

After a two year hiatus, this family-friendly, outdoor music festival returns to Downtown Weaverville! Music, food, beer, and kid’s activities kick off at 5pm.

Music on Main is an open-air, one-night concert event on Main Street in Weaverville. Two powerful bands, and an award-winning acoustic opener will create an evening to remember.

Come join us in front of Town Hall. Bring your chairs, your friends, your kids, and your appetite. There will be food, fun, beer, and really great music. Music on Main is on — Rain or shine!

This event is made possible thanks to the Weaverville Business Association, the Town of Weaverville, and our incredible Sponsors.

Music on Main takes place on Main Street – with the stage set-up right in front of Town Hall!

Food Trucks, including The Grey Eagle Taco Truck, Smokee’s Pizza, and Creamworks will join us. There will also be local beer, wine, kids activities, and vendor booths to peruse. Local restaurants will be open all along Main Street, including Twisted Laurel and The Shoppe.

Rain or shine, we are on — Weaverville’s Music on Main is not to be missed!!

VOLUNTEER WITH US!

Got Questions? We have answers.

South Main Street between Merrimon Ave. and Brown St. will be closed between 12pm and 10:30pm Saturday.

With the road closures, crowds of people, kiddos to tote, and chairs to carry, it’s a good idea to have a parking game plan. If you’re attending Music on Main with a group of people, carpool as much as possible. Parking will be available in the Weaverville Primary School Ballfield, as well as at the First Baptist Church, Methodist Church, and West Funeral Home.

4 spots along South Main Street (by the ballfields) will be reserved Handicap parking.

Well, it is Western North Carolina, so, YES — local beer will be for sale, along with wine. The beer and wine tent will be adjacent to Maggie B’s.

Beer and wine can be purchased with a token. These are for sale at the I.D. tent. Cash and card are accepted.

Wristbands will also be available at the I.D. Tent, and you must be in possession of a wristband in order to drink alcohol at Music on Main. Beer and wine must remain within the perimeter of the event.

Yes. So much food. In addition to Twisted Laurel, Main Street Grill, and The Shoppe, there will be food trucks spread throughout the event.

Portable toilets will be located along the North side of the Frontier Communications building, between the Health and Wellness Zone and the Kids Activity Zone.

Restrooms at most of the businesses along Main Street will likely be for customer use-only.

This Event is possible thanks to the Town of Weaverville, and our very generous sponsors.
